4:30am Pick Up and Transfer to Train Station

We begin this express tour to Machu Picchu by having one of our drivers and guides pick you up at your hotel! We then head over to the Ollantaytambo train station. 

Train to Aguas Calientes

6:00am Train Ride to Aguas Calientes

We hop on the train to Aguas Calientes. The pleasant ride takes us through the Urubamba Valley of the Incas. Enjoy the spectacular views of the Peruvian highland as it changes into the lush cloud forest located at the foot of Machu Picchu.

7:45am Arrival To Aguas Calientes – Shuttle to Machu Picchu

We’ll arrive at the small town of Aguas Calientes and wait to be escorted through the tiny streets until we reach our shuttle, which will take us to Machu Picchu. The shuttle will take approximately 25 minutes to get the Inca city on this Machu Picchu express tour.

9:00am Machu Picchu Guided Tour

Upon arrival, you’ll witness the ancient Inca citadel, a mystical location hidden for hundreds of years. Then, your professional tour guide will take you for a tour around Machu Picchu’s most important sights. The tour takes 2 hours, and your guide will answer any questions you might have about the city.

After the tour finishes, you’ll have a chance to wander around Machu Picchu until 1 pm, when we’ll come back down to the town of Aguas Calientes via the shuttle.

3:30 pm Return to Cusco

In the early afternoon, we depart the town of Aguas Calientes on the train back to the Ollantaytambo train station. Our transport will be waiting to take you back to Cusco upon arrival. The approximate arrival is 6:00 pm. This brings an end to our Machu Picchu Express Tour.
